In Sub-Saharan Africa, we call for a radical transformation of education policies and practices, Not for the reproduction education policies borrowed from elsewhere.
What We Do
At CREF, we are engaged with impactful research on education for sustainable development. We are committed to exploring ways in which we support the governments , school leaders and teachers to achieve sustainable positive impact on young people’s education and careers. Our main area of focus lies on teacher education, curriculum development, school leadership training and accountability.
Our analysis of quality of education draw upon three levels:(1) Macro level looks at the evidence-based educational policy choices ; (2) Meso level is concerned with the education management information system (EMIS); (3) Micro level deals with the effective teacher training curriculum and classroom management.
